2015 Journey by Winnebago 40R “sold and delivered”
This motorhome is the personal unit of Betty and Winston’s bought from Sicard’s in summer of 2018 with very little use and low mileage at that time. We have travelled to Florida twice for last two winters, plus did a three month trip to the east coast of Canada inc Newfoundland, ferry each route as well as ferry from PEI to Nova Scotia. The mileage now is 20,000 miles still a low mileage vehicle for a 2015. Winston has maintained and did repairs as required inc three major wax jobs during this time. We are looking to downsize over the next few months and purchase a class B plus for a west trip perhaps ease of travel without tow car and a bit of economy for that 25,000 mile journey. We will safety unit and register for your enjoyment as well we have a four year extended warranty good until 25/08/22 with 150.00 deductible transferable for a small fee. This motor home boasts a front kitchen which we love, 36″ cabinet depth whirlpool refrigerator 3 door with ice maker and water cold dispenser inside door, the spacious cabinets are handy with large roll out drawers for way too much storage. The combination convection microwave is a dream to bake with, the exhaust/light are extra features as well. There is a separate vent and pot filler water supply at the cook top areas. The living room boost a L couch that becomes a king bed with all foam mattress great for those overnight guests, adjustable all way dining table that sits four with extra folding chairs firmly stored wrapped in their spot outside. The living room also sports lots of storage with desk drawers as well as a bar behind the 59″ smart TV. We are enjoying two baths one off living room for convenience as well as a full bath, large shower as well as a stacking washer and dryer, medicine cabinets are spacious and the extra depth in all base cabinets kitchen and bath provides more than enough storage. The hot water is a propane on demand unit which means you have an endless hot water supply for the laundry and many showers. (no waiting here) Our bed is the dual air control sleep number bed famous for higher end coaches, we like it so much we are purchasing two for our new condo being built for spring occupancy in the 1000 Island region. The extra pillows and bedspread was dry cleaned when we purchased this MH in August 2018 and put into climatized storage so will be like new for the new owners. Look at the brochure to see this ensemble. The outside storage is the best I have ever seen, the huge roll out comes out through a double door and will hold 16 large plastic containers. (way too much storage)
The drive train is a 380 HP Cummings diesel engine and 6 speed Allison transmission, I tow a 2012 Cadillac SRX all wheel drive and prefer the mountain route over 77 on our trip home from Florida, just nice to stay and pass the trucks on those long grades. The big test was the west coast of Newfoundland where we have real hills and I was so proud of how easy it was to go up and down safely with all the necessary power to go up and drag with the engine brake to manage the curves at the bottom. I have all service records and repairs since we purchased this unit for you to keep.
We also have a 2012 SRX Cadillac tow car with braking, light bar and roadmaster tow bar can be purchased for an additional 15,000.00 The equipment is valued originally at over 9000.00 installed.
