This motor home was purchased and imported from Florida in 2008 by the present owner, since then it has been used more for part time family camping and that is what they did, short trips, cooked outside, slept in with the family and the unit shows the lack of use. Miles on this unit is under 9500/15500 MI/KM.
This is one of Coachman’s upscale units and that is well displayed with the extra switches/lights for convenience and ambience featured throughout unit. Motor Home sleeps 6 in total, outside storage is plentiful, and has a 50amp service with a 7500 Onan generator (under 100 hours) backed up by 2 battery pack supplying the inverter. If you wanted to use this unit for dry camping there is room for an additional two batteries. The tires are original dated 1105 so unless the use would be similar to past with only short trips it would require all new tires. They may past safety due to minimal cracking, however would not pass the test of time on long trips. I would suspect new coach batteries are required in the near future as well. I have gone through coach and rest seems in very good condition based on the year of the coach. The interior is immaculate, appliances like new and show the effect of minimum use.
The chassis is a freightliner with a 300 Cummings motor and Allison transmission. The hitch is 5000 LB plenty for the small tow cars of the day. We have a 2008 VUE that could be incorporated into the deal as we are presently looking at purchasing a more luxury tow car for our travels.
I recommend this coach for locals or snowbirds, it is the size 36 feet that can be used for provincial parks with ease, however for that person that wants the stability of a diesel like the previous owner this coach is a steel at 74,900.00. Yes we can look at your trade, I am in the market for a high end DTS Cadillac in the 2010/2011 years dressed up, high mileage for me is not an issue because I plan to tow it and actually drive very little.
